Infrastructure:

The college is equipped with state-of –the art facilities and infrastructure enabling the students to develop their knowledge and skills in a perfect environment. High qualified and dedicated teaching staff guides the students with total focus in achieving set targets. Extended academic support by classroom discussions, group discussions, series tests, re-test, model examination and seminars are our priorities. The college gives great importance for cultural and social activities for the overall development of student's personality.

Local Conveyance:

There is a separate transport yard with all the facility for maintenance to up keep the college buses in the camp. The buses are exclusively for the conveyance of students from Thiruvananthapuram, Marthandam, karungal, Monday market, Nagercoil, Kanya kumari, Valliyoor, and Tirunelveli. The college campus and its surroundings offer a picturesque panoramic view.

College Bus:

The college owned buses providing transportation requirements for students and facility from Thiruvanathapuram, Nagercoil, Monday market, Marthandam, Karungal, Tirunelveli, Valliyoor, and various other boarding points from in and around Kanyakumari, Tirunelveli districts are provided.

Library

The college has an excellent library housing enough volume of science and technical books as per university norms.also,the library is well –stocked, spacious with good collection of reference books, periodicals and journals (National and International).Department libraries are supplement to the central library.

Computing Facilities:

•  The centre has more than 300 nodes.

•  It provides high speed connectivity with a leased line.

•  Properly furnished computer lab with Pentium IV nodes connected to IBM server.

•  The practical sessions are made easier with the latest version of advanced software including windows 2000 professional and windows 2003 server.

EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

Sports & Games:

This infrastructure of the institute provides a conducive atmosphere to the students to have the skills in their favorite games by providing Basketball courts, volleyball courts, tennis courts, football ground cum cricket field and facilities for indoor games like badminton table tennis, caroms and chess. The institute also has a well equipped gym there by providing the students every opportunity to develop a sound body to house and sound mind. The infrastructure of the institute provides the students with a seminar hall and function hall to organize various cultural events.

N.S.S

There is a N.S.S unit in our college with a minimum of 50 members each. The N.S.S units are undertaking adaption of villages and community service to promote awareness on national integrity and communal harmony. Every year special camps are organized in rural villages about aids awareness, voter awareness, awareness on liquor prohibition, environment and pollution control, savings, fire prevention measures and women status which are highlighted in the campus. Free eye/dental/medical camps are also made frequently to the villages. Many villages below poverty line are much benefitted by these free camps. Free optical are provided to the needy people during the free camp donated by the Chairman of Jayamatha Engineering College.

CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

Associations:

As a part of the co-curricular activities our students, various associations are formed in different faculties. The objectives of these associations are to conduct seminars and to inter-act with the experts.

Seminars:

Seminars are conducted periodically in the various faculties of our colleges. In addition to these seminars, special seminars are also organized with the participation of technical experts from renowned concepts.

Industrial Visit

Our students undertake industrial visits to various industries and firms like Spic-Tuticorin, Madura coats – Madurai , Lakshmi Mills – Coimbatore etc. These industrial visit are organized as a part of curriculum and also to open up a wide scope of opportunities for the students passing out from our institutions.
